    We are thrilled to share we have formalized our relationship with Madera Residential. WayMaker and Madera first joined forces in 2022 with a $1B acquisition of 3,300 units in DFW from JPI. Madera will continue to grow its Texas presence where they currently own a diversified portfolio of more than 11,000 units. Madera will now move strategically into the Southeast offering Class A Luxury, Attainable Living and New Development in partnerships with leading merchant builders. WayMaker is excited to play a roll in this exciting market expansion and play a roll in affordable housing crisis we are facing in America.   WayMaker is also excited to announce the addition of Jay Parsons as Partner and Head of Investment Strategy. Jay Parsons is arguably the industry’s most respected economist and his data driven approach combined with his strategic leadership positions the platform for a successful future.  #multifamilyinvesting #multifamilyrealestate

Key Highlights include: -Double Digit Decline in Multi-Family Transaction Volume Should Not Be Concerning: In Q2 2023, we saw double digit decline in multifamily in Q2 2022, which was a record setting quarter. The Q2 2023 deal volume is more sustainable. -Construction is a good thing. If a market is too supply constrained, it leads to political response like rent control.  We want easing of policies that limit new supply and allow markets to operate and developers to build what the market wants. -Dallas Fort-Worth #1 in Multi-Family Transaction Volume: DFW leads the country in multi-family transaction volume because 1) Investor change in allocation 2) relative size of multifamily assets and 3) DFW has a great airport, which is attractive for corporate businesses that need to be able to get anywhere in the country or world. Dallas Fort-Worth will be 3rd largest metro in the country by the end of this decade. 2. By 2100, DFW will be the largest metro in the country.  DFW has incredibly strong demand drivers including: diverse employment, good schools, and great infrastructure. 3.
