For professional advisers only. Registration now open for our next webinar: Launch of Copia’s Select: Money Markets Portfolio 7 August 2024, 10 am Speakers: · Tony Hicks, Copia Capital Management · Joanne Benson, Copia Capital Management With cash returns currently looking attractive, Copia is delighted to offer advisers an ‘on platform’ option with its new Select: Money Markets Portfolio: a cash-equivalent, value for money solution that works as an alternative to cash savings and bank deposits. At this short launch webinar we’ll be examining recent trends for advisers’ clients to take money off platform and place their cash into higher rate accounts, typically with ‘lock in’ periods. As a result, advisers then lose oversight of these funds, with a risk it doesn’t come back under their advice. To address this risk, the webinar will look at how the managed Select: Money Markets Portfolio offers advisers and their clients a ‘safe haven’ which is invested into a diversified, blended range of Money Market funds (that in turn invest across different types of Money Market instruments and across geographies). These are institutional funds, offering the highest rates while not suffering from lock-in periods. The portfolio is fully liquid, with daily dealing, in or out. Key points we’ll cover include: · How the portfolio has been constructed and blended · The attributes of the various types of Money Market instruments used by the fund managers · The risk management attributes · Examples of uses for the portfolio We’ll also discuss the value for money offered by the new portfolio, which currently yields 5.3% gross. The portfolio OCF and transaction costs are 15bp in total, and the DFM fee is just 5bp, giving a yield net of costs (OCF and DFM) of 5.1% https://lnkd.in/ej3ijmRM
Welcome! You are invited to join a webinar: Launch of Copia’s Select: Money Markets Portfolio. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email about joining the webinar.

In theory, Centralised Investment Propositions (CIPs) are a great way of managing client money, saving time by standardising the proposition for multiple clients and streamlining the administration involved. Unfortunately, we’ve found that’s not the case in practice for many advisers.
