At WCAS, partnership is foundational to our investment philosophy. Last week wrapped up a busy fall season convening leaders from our portfolio companies and our many partners, including leaders of HR, Technology, Finance, Revenue Cycle Management, Procurement, and Value Based Care. In partnership with The Health Management Academy, we also convened multiple cohorts of the Physician Leaders Program. These events build capabilities, expand networks, and serve as valuable knowledge exchanges. We are grateful to all our partners and the opportunities (and fun) we have working together.

Last week, WCAS had the privilege of hosting 1st and 2nd-year investment banking Fellows from SEO (Sponsors for Educational Opportunity)'s Alternative Investment Fellowship Program (AIFP) for an informational breakfast in our New York offices. We shared perspectives on the PE industry at large, things to consider when evaluating PE opportunities and engaged several of our WCAS team members to share their experiences as Associates, VPs, and Principals. Perhaps most importantly, we provided a forum for the Fellows to ask questions and network with our team. As background, AIFP provides education, mentorship, and career development to young professionals historically underrepresented in the alternative investments sector. Since 2009, the AIFP has helped hundreds of professionals achieve their career goals by connecting them with industry leaders who are passionate about creating change and increasing diversity in the sector. Over the years, WCAS has had the opportunity to hire several exceptional AIFP alumni. We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with this incredible organization. #SEOAlternativeInvestments
