  • Double the blessings, double the impact! Today is a special day as my twin sister and I celebrate our birthday together. It’s not just a celebration of another year of life, but a reflection on 26 years in the nonprofit sector and running our own nonprofit organization focused on empowering self-employed and women-owned businesses just like us. Working side by side with my twin sister has been one of the most rewarding experiences. Together, we’ve survived, thrived, and created a space for women like us to succeed. As women of color who have navigated the landscape of philanthropy, and we’ve faced challenges that will take a whole book to write about. Thank you to family, board members, volunteers and friends who have been a part of our journey. We have been able to thrive and with your support has been a testament to the power of the community. With age comes wisdom and we look forward to continuing this work together to uplift and support the next generation of women leaders making a difference.

  • Empowering Women of Color: A Call to Civic Engagement and Connection WEOP an organization with twenty-six years empowering self-employed and women-owned businesses, we are proud to host our annual “Economic Equity Business Forum” In October in recognition of National Women Owned Business month. CEO at Women's Entrepreneurial Opportunity Project, Inc.

I am filled with gratitude for the incredible circle of women who gathered together to celebrate, inspire, and empower one another during our annual Women’s History Month celebration.  There's a certain magic that happens when women come together with a shared purpose, and our event was a testament to that. From diverse backgrounds, experiences, and cultures, we converged in one room, united by our collective strength and resilience. It was truly awe-inspiring to witness the power of collaboration with The Women’s Entrepreneurial Opportunity Project, Inc. (WEOP) and the Center for Asian Pacific American Women (CAPAW).  Thank you to Sue Ann Hong and to Katic Chin for a remarkable performance during lunch.  As we continue to strive for gender equality and women's empowerment, events like these serve as a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when we work together. Together, we are unstoppable.
