I'm profoundly grateful for this opportunity to learn from local and regional leaders the past six months alongside Michelle Hoover and other area professionals. The 2024 Class of Leadership Mason County toured the Consumers Energy Ludington Pumped Storage Facility on Thursday during its last session with the Chamber Alliance. We are proud of these local leaders who have committed six months to leadership training. This cohort also participated in manufacturing tours and volunteered multiple days at Habitat for Humanity and Lakeshore Food Club. In addition, the class worked together to write a report on homelessness in Mason County, which will be used by local organizations seeking housing grants. An awards ceremony was held at Ludington Bay Brewing Company on Thursday evening when individuals were presented certificates of completion.
