Together they discussed dementia-related brain changes and shared successful approaches used in supporting individuals living with cognitive decline. It was a pleasure being a part of LeadingAge Maryland's 2024 Annual Conference - partnering with Tiffany Nicolette (CHAI: Comprehensive Housing Assistance, Inc.), Patty Malatt (Asbury Communities, Inc.), and Lauren Latessa (Iris Music Project) to present on The Impact of Community Embedded Musicians. The health benefits for older adults of participating in the arts and music are astounding, and we would be happy to connect and discuss the first steps to creating long-term Ensemble Programs in other communities.

We so enjoyed being a part of the University of Maryland - Baltimore Geriatrics and Gerontology Education and Research Program Navigating Dementia Educational Series Conference in #ColumbiaMD.
