Make-A-Wish Colorado

Make-A-Wish Colorado is launching a construction and design industry initiative called Builders of Hope to bring together leaders and companies to provide expertise, knowledge, resources, and monetary and in-kind support to fulfill our mission of creating life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. We are seeking companies and individuals in the construction, architecture, landscape and design industries from all across Colorado to assist with wishes to have backyard makeovers, play structures, hot tub installations, room makeovers, treehouses, etc. In the past four years, we have granted 20 construction-type wishes which cost an average of $9,000 each. Participating members and companies will see firsthand that they are giving back to the community in a meaningful way by providing local children with fun, safe, and accessible spaces to play in their own backyards! Music to our ears! The 14th Annual Corey Rose Wishes and Heroes Benefit Concert raised $80,000 for Make-A-Wish Colorado, which is enough to grant TEN life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses! Corey featured wish kid Mila & her wish to swim with the pigs! Mila, her family and plenty of other wish families came out to Breckenridge Brewery to enjoy live music, a live auction, and lots of family fun! Thank you, Coery Rose, for supporting wishes for nearly fifteen years. We can't wait for next year's event!

Inside Travel Group | B Corp™ donated more than $22,400 to Make-A-Wish Colorado as part of Inside Travel Group’s Giving Back Pledge! We are so grateful for our longstanding partnership with Inside Travel Group. Since the beginning of 2020, their team has worked arduously to support kids across Colorado battling critical illnesses and raised enough funds to grant three life-changing wishes. Through the chaos of COVID-19, the team remained passionate and determined to make a lasting impact on many wish families. We are looking for passionate student volunteers to join our Youth Leadership Council! YLC members work to spread awareness and raise vital funds for Make-A-Wish Colorado. Students must be in grades 9-12 in the 2024-2025 school year and be able to commit to attending monthly in-person meetings October-May at our office in Greenwood Village. Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Denver Union Station’s revitalization while supporting Make-A-Wish Colorado on July 13! This event demonstrates a significant commitment to the local community by bringing together Denver’s citizens in support of local nonprofits for a memorable summer evening. Featuring performances by The Colorado Symphony, haikuists, ice sculpturists, and live painting, and more! Enjoy the food and drink of chef-led restaurants and take in the renovations of our station at the event of the decade! Ramona is a sweet five-year-old girl whose wish is to have a themed go-kart race with her friends. You can help bring Ramona's wish to life - here's how!
