🏀March Madness at WLKY means it’s time for our Annual Chili Cook-Off! 🏀 For 17 years now, on the first day of the NCAA Tournament, employees wear their favorite college or team colors and eat chili! Several employees also compete for Chili Cook-Off bragging rights. This year there was a tie for first place: Taylor Glenn (Sales) and Tracie Hotopp (News). Employees also vote for Fan Favorite, which went to Ryan Ruff (Sales) this year. Thanks to our panel of dedicated judges, and to all of our WLKY employees who are working hard during this busy time of year! 🏀
Just a quick shout out to all WLKY employees responsible for gathering, reporting and producing the news. Our News operation is supported by so many hard-working, dedicated, talented teammates. It's much more than just who you see on the news. Recently our News Department held its annual Celebration/Kickoff meeting to talk about accomplishments and goals, as well as recognize some outstanding employees. But we also celebrate everyone in the building who supports newscast production each day - it's truly a team effort! In 2023, we were honored to serve our community with important storytelling, and live coverage of critical events, weather, and sports.
