The Women Corporate Directors’ Women of Color Pipeline Program in Tampa is remarkable, helping a talented cohort of board-ready executives in the Tampa area navigate the journey to public board seats. I’ve had the honor of keynoting as part of the program for two years (thank you Carmen Bauza, Lauren Valiente, Mercedes Romero) and seen first-hand the caliber of both the participants and the mentors. WCD México recently collaborated with 50/50 Women On Boards Mexico to host an event facilitating conversations on board diversity in Mexico. This extraordinary event gathered over 300 attendees who gained insights from WCD members sharing their experiences as independent directors. The event also allowed opportunities for panel discussions and networking.
