About us
WomenStrong International finds, funds, strengthens, and shares women-driven solutions that will transform lives in urban communities. Our partners start by listening to women, who know best what they need in order to thrive. Then we bring these organizations together into a Learning Lab, to develop, test, sharpen, and disseminate their solutions. Through our collective learning and sharing, WomenStrong is building a global community of organizations better equipped to advance the rights and wellbeing of women and girls.

We’re thrilled to share that our partner, The Action Foundation Kenya, recently wrapped up a dynamic 2-day Girls Camp filled with empowering sessions and engaging activities! 🎉 What’s even more exciting? The Action Foundation integrated activities directly from our Strong Girls Make Strong Women Girls’ Clubs Handbook, a resource we co-created with four of our founding partners. This handbook has truly stood the test of time, continuing to inspire and equip organizations around the world in their work to uplift and empower girls. 💪 Want to learn more or incorporate these resources into your own programs? Honored to have our Ampitapitao initiative spotlighted in USAID's article about #ThePitch! With support from USAID and Knowledge SUCCESS, we developed a magazine series tackling issues related to youth reproductive health. The magazines were a way to solicit community perspectives on these issues — perspectives we then shared with national policy- and decision-makers. Through Ampitapitao magazines distributed in 51 communities across three regions, we received 8,000 comments (in just a few months)! https://lnkd.in/gqDYVFd3
