It’s easy to understand why people associate WorkHound and feedback with retention. We’ve helped companies see some drastic turnover improvements. While improving retention is a great by-product of a high functioning feedback loop, it’s not the only way feedback helps. In my recent chat on the Taking The Hire Road podcast, host Jeremy Reymer asked about what other use cases feedback can support. It’s a great question. I think of it like this: What problem are we trying to solve? How might we be better? And then, we use feedback to find the answers. Here are some more questions that feedback can help answer: 📌 How do we get more efficient in operations? 📌 Where do we need to improve our training? 📌 How can we leverage customer insights to gain a competitive edge? 📌 Are there any hotspots in our business that could lead to workplace disruptions? 📌 How do we maintain a direct working relationship with our workforce? So, yes, worker feedback is instrumental for retention, but there is so much more it can improve besides turnover. It all starts by asking: What problem do we want to solve?
