In September of 2015 WPBT joined WXEL to form South Florida PBS! With a reach up to the Treasure Coast down into Key West, and from the Atlantic Ocean west to Lake Okeechobee, South Florida PBS is ranked as the nation's 7th largest Public Television station. We are committed to creating and presenting unique arts, education and cultural heritage programming through our national & local programs. South Florida PBS is a vibrant force in the South Florida community that preserves its history, and also educates, informs, enlightens & inspires our viewers!
