Young Entrepreneurs Academy of Baton Rouge (YEA BR, www.yeabr.org) transforms area high school students into confident entrepreneurs. Over the academic year and under the instruction of the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business, select students generate business ideas, write business plans, pitch to an investor panel, and actually launch their very own companies. YEA BR combines a proven national curriculum with the experiences of Baton Rouge business leaders, educators, community members, and entrepreneurs. The Academy welcomes students from the nine-parish Baton Rouge Area of Ascension, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, St. Helena, West Baton Rouge and West Feliciana parishes. YEA BR is made possible through partnerships with: - LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business, Stephenson Department of Entrepreneurship & Information Systems - LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business, Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute - Louisiana Business & Technology Center at LSU Innovation Park - Baton Rouge Area Chamber Our mission is to unlock the potential of young, aspiring entrepreneurs.
