Psychedelic Peer Support : Creating Communities of Compassionate Care

About us

Zendo Project offers professional harm reduction education to communities and organizations and provides peer support services at events to help transform difficult psychedelic experiences into opportunities for learning and growth. Zendo Project started as a harm reduction initiative at Burning Man in 2012. Following our incubation as a project of Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), we are proud to announce that we have taken the steps to become our own non-profit entity. Now in our tenth year, we are eager to continue creating communities of compassionate care by focusing on our top priorities; HARM REDUCTION SERVICES Continue to provide the quality of care we are known for, expanding services to more large events around the world PEER SUPPORT EDUCATION Expand our training programs to reach wider audiences and further inform communities engaging in psychedelic experiences POLICY & ADVOCACY Advocate for the wide-spread adoption of harm reduction services at psychedelic events and festivals. Demonstrate the need for harm reduction to be recognized as an essential, integral component of event safety for large gatherings — ultimately developing safety standards and expanding the demand for harm reduction services
