𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 🧬 ZymoChem uses engineered microbes to manufacture biobased monomers using engineered microbes, which are essential for fabricating military fabrics, tactical gear, aerospace materials, and more. 🏆 Seven biotech companies were awarded grant funding under the Distributed Bioindustrial Manufacturing Program (DBIMP). The other six winners include Battelle, Biosphere, Geno, iMicrobes, Modular Genetics, Inc., and The Better Meat Co. 🏭 DBIMP-awarded companies are eligible to receive up to $100 million to access bioindustrial manufacturing facilities in the U.S., a huge opportunity for infrastructure development in the biotech industry.
