I was also a support for students; through floor and 1-1 meetings, created student focused hall programming and administrative duties (room transfers, incident reports and maintenance requests). I worked as an RA in East Residence Hall, focusing on first year students for the 2018-19 year, as an RA in the Cabrini Apartments during the 2019 summer focusing on all students, and in Xavier Residence Hall, again focusing on first year students for the 2019-20 academic year. Part of my programing responsibilities were to implement programs that increased student awareness of social, educational, diverse, health, and emotional growth issues. I also attended, and contributed to weekly staff meetings to address resident and RA needs. I was provided a two (2) week training program before the academic year started with a two-day training period before the start of the Spring Semester in order for myself and 29 other RAs could best serve our residents.
