    Mission

Our mission is to strengthen children’s rights to positive delopment and well being, ensuring protection from violence

The Changing Children's World Foundation (CCWF) addresses the full developmental ecology of youth with a strengths-based and measurable approach. The Community/Child Capacity Development and Violence Prevention (CCDevVP) framework is aligned with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which establishes and promotes international best practice in children’s rights to survival, maximum development, health and social services, and protection from violence and neglect. It provides an integrated approach to community-based child protection.

This year’s Crest Culture Award was presented to St. Charles Trading of Batavia, Illinois and was accepted by Al Cianci – President of St. Charles Trading.
Over the last 20 plus years the St. Charles Trading / Crest Foods Company relationship has grown to the point that our companies discuss more than just buying and selling of a few pounds of powder. St. Charles’ style of doing business reflects Crest Culture in a way that made selecting them as our winner a no brainer.
St. Charles Trading is family owned and while not quite as rural as Ashton, they don’t have to look very far down the road to find a corn or bean field, which speaks to two of our Culture Statement points.
Ethical and Fair – (One of the most Ethical and Fair companies we work with)
Innovative – (Al comes out to Crest with many innovative ideas)
Maintain Customer Focus – (St. Charles is definitely focused on taking care of the customer).

  • Winner of 2014 Year Over Year Gross Margin Growth Award

    St. Charles Trading

Achieved largest increase in gross margins sales year over year.
