“Al was a fantastic manager - he had a perfect level of knowledge of the software side of things to allow him to make educated decisions about product direction at his level while not micromanaging. He was always looking to improve the organization, and one fantastic example of that was him pushing Agile/scrum to the forefront and getting it adopted. I would gladly work for Al again, he was probably the most technically advanced manager that I've ever had.”
