  • NASA L'SPACE Mission Concept Academy Spring 2020

    The Fall 2020 Mission Concept Academy detailed a semester-long project related to in-situ resource utilization (ISRU) on the Moon in the search for water polar ice water, pre-professional work force development focused on NASA mission protocols, procedures, practices, and mentorship through virtual live sessions with experts and researchers related to the Lucy 2021 mission. Our team E.LS.A. (Elemental Lunar Surface Analysis);

    • Developed a lunar mission concept to investigate the resource potential of, and characterize polar water ice on the moon.
    • Designed a form factor lunar lander payload to deploy and successfully land a payload on Shackleton Crater using a budget of $35M and a mass constraint of 10 kilograms.
    • Redacted and performed a Preliminary Design Review.
    I served as the Project Controls Analyst and Document Controller. I was also in charge of the FMEA and risk mitigation.
