As president of the LDSSA in Rocklin, CA, I shifted the focus from a religious proselyting group to a community service group involving members of all faiths. Over the course of two semesters we provided a variety of services to the community through self-funded projects. One of our best activities included preparing and delivering 137 meals to the homeless in Sacramento, CA.
