Involved senior-year Honors student at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Clinical Concentration and an Art Therapy minor. Preparing to apply to Clinical Psychology PhD and related graduate programs to begin in the summer/fall of 2025.
At St. Joe's, I've had the wonderful opportunity to be involved in many different organizations such as the Kinney Center for Autism Education and Support, the Writing Center, and Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, which have all given me great exposure to person-centered programs and initiatives. Conducting self-identity research within the Psychology Department has only furthered my curiosity about the self-perception and behaviors of college students, and I am grateful to be part of a team that arms me with the tools and encouragement to seek answers to my questions. As a mental health advocate, I have spoken to student organizations such as the Student Senate and Dean's Leadership Program to normalize therapy and psychotropic medication use for college students. Outside of my university, my position as a Therapeutic Facilitator at the Social Enrichment Center allowed me the opportunity to apply my clinical knowledge and skills in a leadership role while working with a new population.
An experienced psychology student, I'm interested in researching, observing, and offering mental health care in a clinical setting to populations without proper access to these resources.
