About

Passionate researcher driven by the curiosity of quantifying the interaction between athletes and external products, and how quantitative data can be captured to improve that interaction based on the desired performance outcome.

I have spent most of my career utilizing a multidisciplinary approach to quantifying the "interface" through mechanical, physiological, and biomechanical testing methods, with the objective of using this data to inform parametric design and product development applications.

Currently, I work as an Applied Researcher at Altra Running, a VF Company, which strives to unleash human potential by inspiring the world to move naturally.

My work concentrates on how wearable technology such as IMUs can be utilized to capture tangible field-based data and serve as a direct input to quantify product and human performance. I also work within the agile Innovation team, which generates ideas, prototypes, and validates novel methods of design, development, and product that supports the future vision of Altra Running with a tangible point of product experience differentiation.

In the future, I aspire to continue my work in the field of wearable technology and human performance, and to use my research to help athletes achieve their full potential.
