One of 42 IDA branches worldwide, we have been serving the areas of MN, ND, and SD for nearly 45 years.

IDA Upper Midwest Branch is the region’s definitive resource of information related to dyslexia, language-based learning disorders and literacy acquisition. We strive to increase awareness and understanding of these disabilities, encourage early and accurate diagnosis, advocate for the use of scientific, research-based instruction and to bridge the social, educational or cultural gaps to improve language acquisition for the success of all learners.

Our mission is to create a future for all individuals who struggle with dyslexia and other related reading differences so that they may have richer, more robust lives and access to the tools and resources needed.
