    - Led a project team to interview several small businesses (restaurants, shops, etc) and households to determine microloan qualifications for fund distribution

    - Led research teams to research sustainable energy sources that won't contaminate local freshwater and wildlife resources
    - Offered up study for the application of geothermal heating by electricity for households instead of starting fires to keep warm
