How do you use the storybrand framework to craft a compelling narrative for your product positioning?
The first step to positioning - and by proxy, excellent storytelling - is to start by addressing the RIGHT problem. Here’s how I decide if a) the problem is worth solving and b) how to architect the narrative: 1. What is the biggest problem my client is trying to solve? 2. How are they solving it today? 3. How does my product/service help them solve it faster/better/cheaper? 4. Why should they care? 5. (If first 4 boxes are checked) How do I get their attention with creativity, wit and sincerity? It’s rudimentary but getting it wrong will cost a lot more than you’re [likely] able to measure.
