Skip the hassle and rely on a reliable third party for consistent, high-quality output. 4. Dedicate one day a week to recording. I record on Fridays, scheduling multiple interviews to keep my calendar full of upcoming episodes. 5. Play the long game. I committed to 500 episodes when I started. I've recorded 296 so far. Success comes over time, persistence pays off—keep going!

My podcast, Construction Genius, was born from a deep understanding of my target audience, honed over a decade of working with construction leaders. This experience guides every interview I conduct. They are content if that action is small, because they understand that change happens incrementally, over time. Focus is on an action item, no matter how small, focused on the larger goals the client aims at. This is how progress is sustained.

Top performers are eager for change, yet changing is tough. A common barrier? Engaging in tough talks. Coaches help clients to prepare for these conversations by crafting powerful opening statements to address hard issues with boldness and compassion. The stament should only last 60 seconds and serve as a gate into the conversation. It includes these: - Pinpoint the issue. - Cite a specific example of the behavior or situation needing adjustment. - Share your emotions connected to the issue. - Detail what’s at stake. - Recognize your part in the problem. - Voice your commitment to resolve the matter. - Invite feedback from your conversation partner. Hold you client accountable for these steps and help them overcome barriers.
