Here's how you can cultivate resilience and adaptability in your strategic thinking amidst a culture change.
Agile leadership is the foundation for resilience and adaptability in any organization. If leaders have an agile mindset approach (and anchor this in supporting behaviors), they can weather any disruption that may come their way and model this for their teams to follow suit. It starts with agility!

How do you tailor motivation strategies to different personalities?
From the work that I do in Coaching and Behavioral Awareness with individuals and teams, it really does all come down to having deep self-awareness and the awareness and understanding needed to apply actions and behaviors that will be resonate with each team member uniquely. Also, listening, observing and asking about preferences, interests, likes and dislikes can reveal the motivations behind them, again, allowing you to best nurture those motivations.

What do you do if you're a late career professional managing a multigenerational workforce?
The best way to have the most impactful communications is to ASK people what their communication preferences are.. how they like to communicate, how they like to be communicated with and most importantly… what irritates them about other people’s communication. Once you know this (and they do as well), you can find the “sweet spot” somewhere in the middle to ensure the best possible interactions, every time.

What do you do if you're a late career professional managing a multigenerational workforce?
What’s so critical (I’ve found) is changing the organizational narrative about the generations. When you focus the culture more on what the generations DO bring instead of what they don’t, you open the door to the most amazing possibilities, performance and true inclusivity.
