“I very much appreciate the time I spent with Andrew at Akumin. He's the sort of person who can wear many hats, and I certainly took advantage of that, as the CIO at the time. Among other responsibilities, he led IT for the Oncology division of Akumin. Someone else in the organization made the comment, "Well, Andrew's got Oncology. It's sorted." And it had always been true, during my tenure. Of course there were some struggles with difficult joint ventures, but projects in Oncology tended to be successful, deliver on time--sorted. As CIO I had a lot to focus on, but could leave oncology to Andrew because there was little I could add that he wasn't already providing. I was lucky to have him on the team, and look forward to working with him again, should fates allow.”
