He also worked at the Chicago Committee to Defend the Bill of Rights while I was executive director of the national Bill of Rights Defense Committee, which gave me a chance to see his initiative, energy, and vision. Finally, Andrew engages his concerns with an interdisciplinary approach, bringing to bear not only his legal training, but also his experiences as a community organizer and care provider to animals. His warmth and humanity transcend his roles, and he's a joy to work with.”
