See publicationCo-authored with San Francisco-based disability rights attorney Claudia Center, this piece made the case for restoring protections under the ADA to people who had been harmed by narrow Supreme Court and lower federal court decisions that excluded people who were able to manage their symptoms from the civil rights protections in the ADA. The article helped lay the foundation for the successful ADA Amendments Act in 2008.
