    Before I graduated, the Dean of Students told me that my human-interest features, which regularly were used by regional press/media throughout the plains states, are what helped increase the school's enrollment by 10 percent.

    Additionally, one special issue of the school's Alumni News magazine was composed entirely of my feature articles, with my name and previous writing-history credits being highlighted.

  • Activities and Societies: Sigma Delta Chi

    After working as a staff writer and News Editor for The Sunflower university newspaper during my Freshman year, I became the first student to be appointed Editor-in-Chief for a full, one-year term.

    My management of that non-laboratory, twice-weekly tabloid during my term took cash reserves from $9K to $27K in nine months.

    Also, shortly after my tenure as Editor-in-Chief, production nights started ending as early as 6 p.m. until as late as 2 a.m. the next morning.
