This award program is designed to recognize 40 law enforcement professionals under the age of 40 from around the world that demonstrate leadership and exemplify commitment to their profession.

The Rising Star Award is designed to recognize new Active members whose early years as a Junior League member demonstrate significant promise consistent with the Vision and Values of The Junior League's Mission.

Through a formal nomination and selection process, the Georgia State University Alumni Association honors, recognizes and celebrates the most influential graduates who represent Georgia State. This award program is university-wide and intentionally honors oustanding alumni from a variety of colleges/discpilines, backgrounds (race & gender) and industries.

This award is given to metro Atlanta rising stars under the age of 40 that hold positions of leadership, have significant career achievements and have a substantial involvement in community service outside of their day-to-day job performance.

Given to leaders that have made a significant contribution in the fight against youth sexual exploitation and human trafficking.

In July 2018, JLD Member Chandani Algeo was killed in a car accident while vacationing with her family in Florida. Chandani took on difficult projects and tackled them with a smile. She had a positive attitude and never gave up. Chandani was funny, kind and courageous. The Chandani Algeo Shining Star Award is given to a member who exemplifies Chandani's spirit of strength, community service and compassion.

This award recognizes the outstanding achievements and contributions of law enforcement, fire and medical personnel.

This award is presented to the Provisional member who displays a passion for service, a love of the League’s mission, and a desire to become a leader in JLD and the community.

An award recognizing young professionals in government under the age of 40 for their dedication to leadership and excellence.
