“Andrew is a unique individual with a wide range of talents. He is what I would choose to call a "big picture" engineer. While many of us get lost in the day to day task of getting some little chunk of code quickly written, Andrew takes the time to look at what it is we are trying to accomplish and how we might leverage technologies and solutions that already exists. In other words, if the problem has already been solved he has a knack of finding, evaluating and measuring those solutions. I have crossed paths with Andrew at 3 different companies over the last 15 years and have always found him to be engaged, enthusiastic and driven. Some of Andrews strongest talents are to be found in his DB/SQL groundings as well as his statistical skills. In my tenure working with him, Drew has expertise in a very long list of tools and technologies. (yes he is definitely a "tool guy"!!!) Notably: - Loadrunner, Visual Studio, Eclipse as tools, - Weblogic, Apache Tomcat and JBoss as web apps, - Windows & Linux as well grounded OS environments. - SqlServer, Oracle, ProgressDB and MySql as DB's I'm sure that I will not capture everything but the above list speaks to the breadth of technologies where Andrew has done well. Andrew would make a fine addition to a staff that has a need for any of these talents. Very importantly, Drew has, for as long as I have know him, conducted himself with honesty, integrity and a strong work ethic.
