Here's how you can enhance your growth as a Life Coach through attending workshops and conferences.
In addition to skill enhancement, when we invest in workshops, and experience the immersive, hands-on implementation of the new skills, we have a chance to immediately see which components of the new skill align with our strengths, but more importantly, we can get feedback and a place to practice, the parts that are more difficult for us to apply!

Here's how you can support your boss's success by effectively managing up.
What I appreciate in the people I work with is feeling that no matter where they are or what they are doing, they have me, my business and the success of our company top of mind. Some of our best initiatives were a result of a member of my team thinking about an idea during their personal time, or networking for us while out of the office. So the next time you want to support your boss, don't think it's only confined to regular working hours or only when you are physically in your office!

Here's how you can transform a failed project into a valuable learning experience.
I have had many times that a joint project has fallen through. I work in collaboration with many other coaches and most of the time, the reason the joint project didn't succeed was due to unrealistic, or poorly expressed expectations. I try to prevent this as often as possible by being clear about what we can expect of each other and the optimal outcome, but when things go wrong, my approach is win or learn, not win or lose!

What are the most effective ways to measure feedback's impact on your coachee's performance and development?
After working decades with a wide variety of clients, I know that sharing genuine experiences and powerful insights is a catalyst in helping those we work with contemplate, consider, and actually create! change. But I always hear my inner voice reminding me not to get too carried away by the perspective I am sharing, and invite their introspection and feedback. I usually ask them "what about this resonates with you?" or "what were you thinking/feeling as I was sharing this with you?". This usually allows for a productive discussion, and not only is helpful in keeping our goals aligned, it most times adds depth, interesting dimensions and creative aspects to our work together.
