Plex is a software suite used to organize and consume video, music and photos, with a server component (Plex Media Server) as well as a frontend component (OpenPHT/Plex Home Theater) that run on OS X, Linux, Windows, plus clients for Roku, Chromecast, and various smart TV’s, along with mobile apps for Android, iOS and Windows Mobile.

    Voice Control For Plex is an Android app that allows you to control Plex clients with your voice. Plex is a software suite used to organize and consume video, music and photos, with a server component (Plex Media Server) as well as a frontend component (OpenPHT/Plex Home Theater) that run on OS X, Linux, Windows, plus clients for Roku, Chromecast, and various smart TV’s, along with mobile apps for Android, iOS and Windows Mobile.

    Voice Control for Plex utilizes Google's Voice Recognition engine, and also supports usage through AutoVoice (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.joaomgcd.autovoice) Also supported is MohammadG's Xposed module, Google Search API, which allows passing commands from Google Search/Now into Voice Control for Plex. Voice Control for Plex can cast content from a Plex Media Server to Plex Clients or a Chromecast, and it can also play content directly on the Android device. Notifications and controls are also supported on Android Wear.

    Voice Control for Plex is free, ad-free, and open source.
