What is the cause of stress, every cause will have a path to remediation. Is it complexity, or int- ext dependency, or people / team you are working with. First identify what and then why, u may feel like that’s not your role but acknowledge that it’s the cause of ur stress so it’s in ur best interest to try and solve it. This will result in 2 things, 1. reduce ur stress, 2. You will be seen as a driver, collaborator, solver & beyond. If u are unable to say it, seek help from a peer/someone who can If u are in a position where u cannot share or talk about issues and remediations in your org or team, then in my mind it’s probably not a good place to work at and the stress is not worth it. It’s time to ask yourself the right questions

As an architect you have grown through development and have done languages that are bframework binding, as u grow languages to consider are more standalone, e.g python. Given where we are with the AI era and its speed I now have a different opinion and that is, should I even learn a specific language or should I learn to ask better of what I want for a language to do. Focus more on goal and learn to formulate, articulate right questions, path, strategy that achieve my application, solution, business goals

1. Understand your business. 2. Scan the industry for tool and tech both for acceleration plus your business. 3. Lead the discussion, drive requirement clarity. 4. Read business and implementation use cases continuously and draw parallel’s where necessary to accelerate ur work. When you see any of the above resulting in frustration or surprise align your self and get help in areas you need to grow or fill the gap

Most times fear has been a resistance to change. Fear of job, Fear of learning new skill, Fear of anything based on where they are in their life, Fear of pre-conceived notion that it will not work based on self experience or as part of gossip or others. I have found a good and rationale conversation is most helpful, making them aware it’s a skilling opportunity and how it adds to their expertise, setting a timeframe for change, direct goals allow them to pursue change. If there is arrogance that is whole different conversation and not related to skill change 😊
