“I’ve worked with Ben for years in BOMA San Diego on all levels - as co-subchairs of the Annual Associate Download for multiple years, when he chaired the Communications Committee & I was their Board Liaison, and when we served on the Board of Directors together. He said once that I was one of his mentors, and I say the feeling is mutual. He is approachable, thoughtful and strategic, using his BOMA and industry knowledge to help find solutions and connect people. He is also great at thinking outside of the box to help develop new ideas and approaches, with the goal of empowering our other Members to succeed. His experience on various committees throughout the years has given him a great perspective that helps bridge BOMA’s Committees. For instance, in 2021, he helped the Education Committee create a book sponsorship opportunity to help fund textbooks for local BOMI students. More recently, our new Board President Thor selected Ben to head the ‘Leadership Collective’ where he will be responsible for BOMA Committee leadership relationship building and training throughout the year.”
