The American Red Cross Silicon Valley Chapter is a local, non-profit, humanitarian organization that provides relief to those affected by disasters and empowers individuals in our community to prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies through the generous contributions of time and money from Santa Clara County residents and companies.

A group of experts to judge Start-Up Chile’s applications. Start-Up Chile is an innovative program by the Chilean Government to attract world-class early stage entrepreneurs to start up operations in Chile for a few months in return for $40K of seed funding (no equity).

Also served as a mentor at KoFounder Labs, an initiative of the Korean govt/KISED run by YouNoodle in Silicon Valley.

Coro is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that provides experiential and seminar training to groups of diverse leaders. San Francisco is one of seven locations nationwide that provides Coro training. Coro's programs put participants on the path to self-discovery and continual learning. Using a proprietary curriculum involving experience, group participation, interviews, and seminars, Coro participants learn about leadership across multiple sectors, industries, and issues.

LiNK seeks to raise awareness about the human rights and humanitarian crisis in North Korea through the use of media and grassroots support. They educate, protect, advocate, provide and empower the North Korean people so that one day they will have the opportunity to live in true freedom.

Serves to support the CBC in its mission to collaborate in providing resources and a public forum to: educate our culture about the impact of biotechnologies, engage in dialogue about what it means to be human, and to challenge those who influence our culture to use science that is grounded in moral responsibility.

Serving on a board that actively contributes in various fundraising and project management roles. Located in the most underprivileged district in San Francisco, the Tenderloin, and provides youth programs and senior services to local residents.

Responsible for fundraising and planning to develop a national organization providing a network and support for alumni of the Coro Foundation’s programs in each of its six centers in Los Angeles, San Francisco, St. Louis, New York, Kansas City, Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Served as VP of Finance & Development 2003-2005.

National organization which seeks to establish forums, such as KASCON (www.kascon.com) which is the largest annual ethnic student conference in North America, for the discussion of global and local issues that impact the Korean American community.
