How do you use gamification and behavioral economics to enhance employee engagement and performance?
Behavioral economics is fundamental to economics! When the fed raises rates and people react, it’s all about emotions and perceptions of the future. This also plays within companies. When leaders create a culture of trust and customer value employees feel energized to work together and improve productivity. This is why I often think macroeconomists miss many signals about what’s really going on in the economy.

What are the best practices for creating a culture of experimentation and learning?
Every "new idea" has problems and challenges to overcome. The best way to get past this is to encourage people to iterate, give suggestions, and keep at it. Innovation is not a "spark of ideas" - it's a long slog of taking good ideas, working them out, and often putting thousands of hours into designs, iteration, customer testing, and improvement. The more you honor that process the more innovation and continuous improvement you'll see.

What are the best practices for creating a culture of experimentation and learning?
The most valuable way you can "unleash creativity" is to give people clarity on "what's important and what we value" in the company. When these values are clear, everyone feels comfortable talking about, creating, and working together on new ideas. It's impossible to "be innovative" without purpose - and it's vision and values that free this creative power.
