  • Automation of Network Configuration files using Bash Shell Scripting

    • Created a bash script to allow users to configure and update network configuration files automatically instead of doing it manually.
    • Configured DNS, interfaces and sysctl by using menus in the script which creates manual page and switches for various parameters. These parameters were updated successfully in the network files.

    • Designed small network for a networking company in multiple locations using routers and switches
    • Implemented network architecture and configured routers using routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF
    • Used VLSM to allocate IP addresses into a hierarchy of subnets of different sizes. Configured DHCP server to allocate IP addresses automatically to clients.
    • Implemented VLAN and Access-list to regulate communication between different departments.

  • Library Database Management

    • Created a MySQL database for library management
    • Worked on complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, triggers and functions
    • Optimized database by analyzing and performed SQL query tuning
