“I had the chance to work with Bo at Ford Motor Company on couple of projects, before I finally joined his team and reported directly to him. Indeed, without any hesitations, I can say that working with Bo was among my best moments at Ford and throughout my professional career. Bo is a true leader who truly cares about his team members and makes sure that they have everything that they need to succeed. Even after I left Ford, when I needed some help with some procedure within Ford’s HR, Bo went above and beyond to help. He didn’t have to and he was very busy; but he stilled cared to help. When it comes to technical part of the job, Bo is as skillful as in his leadership. He views the project from all aspects. While he was making sure that we pay attention to the details, he always reminded us and helped us not to lose sight on the big picture. He makes sure that the project is not just delivered but is delivered with quality. He was always emphasizing to understand what the clients need and make sure that we deliver something that meets their requirements and need. Consulting with Bo about the project was always very educational and mind-opening and he was bringing your attention to things that you might have missed. While Bo was making sure that overall what we do fits the team goal, he gave us the full decision-making power. He was welcoming and encouraging us to bring in our signature to the project and he was making sure that we are equipped to succeed. I was always feeling that I have the freedom to try the ideas that I have for the project and this style of management is making his team-members more innovative and efficient. Working with Bo wasn’t feeling just like an 8-to-5 job. You were motivated to work and innovate. With the positive and supportive personality that he has, Bo brings the best out of you, which ultimately results in the best quality work for the clients. ”
