Telling the Story of Place Using Mixed Reality
Immerse 2016
In August 2016 Studio 216, in partnership with Skanska and Microsoft HoloLens will open the first holographic sales center in the world in downtown Seattle. A full immersive HoloLens experience has been created to walk prospective tenants through 2+U, a future high rise that will occupy a full city block across the street from the Seattle Art Museum. This presentation will discuss the process of using mixed reality (MR) to tell a ‘story of place’ while connecting users to the storyteller…

This presentation will discuss the process of using mixed reality (MR) to tell a ‘story of place’ while connecting users to the storyteller leading them through the process and outline the differences between virtual reality and mixed reality experiences.
