“I had the joy of working with Bob when he was the Sr Product Marketing Manager of the Entertainment Division which I was tasked with salvaging. Utilizing all outside engineering and design firms, Bob and I worked as a duo to revitalize an all but dead division by creating a half dozen new products. It was an insane undertaking. Whether it was a late Friday night at IDEO for a design meeting or battling with the bean counters, Bob’s never ending energy and amazing passion was always a great driving factor. He is one of the few people I’ve worked with that truly “gets” marketing and I learned much about product marketing from the many hours spent working with him. Bob has the ability to cut through the noise and hit the key factors required to launch desirable products and a successful campaign (as was demonstrated by the jammed E3 booth). He is also quite the salesman; convincing an exhausted, overworked Sr Program Manager that we “absolutely had to do a steering wheel too”. He was correct; …we couldn’t keep the shelves stocked. But most importantly when I look back at the crazy hours, it was Bob’s consistent positive attitude that helped assure it was as hugely enjoyable as it was successful. Btw - that all but dead division now does over a third of a billion dollars.”

“I have had the pleasure to work with Bob while at AMX. During that time, Bob was recruited to help AMX effectively enter new channels to market via distribution model. In his role, Bob was the key player in defining what AMX needed to do strategically to engage some of the largest firms in the IT distribution space.
