“Bree and I started working together at Blend Labs in late 2020 as Recruiters for the company's fastest growing Group of subsidiary companies. Coming from a sourcing background and having full-cycle recruiting experience at companies such as Netsuite, StubHub, and Glassdoor, Bree was very well positioned to hit the ground running here Blend. She & I worked shoulder to shoulder in the high-volume recruiting environment where we made approximately 10 placements per month. Due to her superb performance, she earned a promotion to Recruiting Manager of the GTM group in early 2021. As one of the 5 recruiters she manages, I can say that Bree is one of the best bosses I've ever had. She always has our interests at heart and her empathy inspired us reach even higher levels of productivity (and job satisfaction) in 2022. She has high credibility because she knows our jobs inside and out. At every meeting, she provides actionable ideas to help us with our work. I benefit greatly from this two-way relationship as do my peers. Bree also handles stress well which keeps those of us on her team calm no matter how hectic hiring gets. In closing, I would like to say that Bree Silveira is the kind of manager I wish all managers could be more like. She has high expectations of us and of herself, but she's never oppressive.
