You're guiding a client through a career transition. How can you help them conquer their fear of failure?
Though it's counter-intuitive, the best way to set goals is to set them low. For example, if you haven't exercised in years and decide to start again with a goal of exercising for 30 minutes 3 times in a week you'll feel like a failure if you end up just exercising twice for 20 minutes in a week. If your goal was to instead exercise at least one time in a week for 5 minutes you would feel like a success. Our brain chemistry sends us dopamine, endorphines, and oxytocin making us feel good about ourselves when we hit a goal. These chemicals give us more motivation to keep going.

You're guiding a client through a career transition. How can you help them conquer their fear of failure?
Getting them in touch with their Leader Within and doing exercises to understand the power of perception give them tools and confidence to overcome the fear of failure and deeper anxieties. The power of consciously shifting their focus creates strength, new possibilities. This results in developing extraordinary, meaningful, and lasting impacts on how they see themselves and how they present themselves to both others and new opportunities.
