“I have had the pleasure of working with Bryan Sprulock while at Mando America Corporation where I was his manager. During that time, Bryan filled an essential role in the organization and in the Engineering department. Mando America is a tier 1 and OEM manufacturer of automotive brake systems for Hyundai, Kia, GM, Ford and other Automotive OEMs. Some of the highlights of Bryan’s professional activities at Mando include several product launches (tooling & equipment), change management, equipment OEE optimization, cycle time / labor improvements and daily plant tactical technical support for manufacturing operations. These projects range in scope from major new platform launches to smaller mid-cycle product changes. In addition, Bryan has been instrumental in assuaging many tense situations with customers (both internal and external) which is a testament to his working style and calm and persuasive demeanor. Bryan has repeatedly shown an aptitude to successfully work on complex issues and projects with fervor unmatched by his peers. His work was detailed, thorough and comprehensive. In short, I have been very impressed with Bryan’s professionalism, his attention to detail and his project management and leadership skills. Moreover, I feel that Bryan also has outstanding people skills. I know that Bryan’s skills in Engineering, Project Management and his organizational skills, coupled with his innate talent to work with people, of all levels, would make him an ideal candidate for any employer. I would highly recommend Bryan for any position that he is seeking without reservation. Sincerely, Mark MacDonald, PE ”

Here's how you can resolve conflicts in an industrial engineering workplace.
Industrial engineering topics are typically not readably visible. If a part breaks, you can hold the part in your hand and make a definitive statement that it needs to be replaced, problem solved! Industrial engineering issues are often identified through data analysis and they're not blatantly visible. You can start with agreeing on the data collection technique and analysis. After collecting the data, you share the results and come to a consensus. The data collection is often in the form of time studies, work flow balances and other tools used in the various lean manufacturing disciplines. It's easy to disagree with an individual. It's harder to disagree with data, especially when the involved parties are contributors.
