    This award honors a graduating senior who displays an eagerness to pursue knowledge and understanding while holding to the highest of academic standards and maintaining a GPA of at least 3.95.

    Wallace H. Coulter Foundation and Biomedical Engineering Society

    As a team of six undergraduates from Georgia Tech we competed against teams from biomedical engineering departments from across the United States to design a product to address an unmet clinical need. Our team developed a novel strategy to diagnose strep throat that is less intimidating to pediatric patients and cut testing costs by over 50%. The competition concluded with venture capital pitches to investors and Coulter Foundation members.

    USA Triathlon

    Selected to represent Team USA at the International Triathlon Union's Triathlon World Championships in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. At the event I placed 13th in the Olympic distance and 19th in the sprint race.
