Community Boost is also at the forefront of knowledge sharing, hosting the Nonprofit Marketing Summit, the world's preeminent virtual nonprofit conference, biannually. Every March and August, this event unites over 25,000 nonprofit professionals, over 3 days, fostering collaboration and growth within the social sector.

We plan to speak with over 300 Social Entrepreneurs, Non-Profits, Digital Marketers, Venture Capitalists, Thought Leaders, and other great individuals and organizations who use business tactics to create positive social impact. Project FLITE, (which stands for Fostering Leadership and Independence Through Entrepreneurship), exists to enable and empower "at-risk" youth to realize their potential, recognize business opportunities, and build their future as entrepreneurial leaders.

Our five phase curriculum utilizes principles from Lean Startup Methodology, Design Thinking, financial modeling, business model scalability, business operations, and pitching, and includes successful entrepreneurs with particular domain expertise in those phases as guest lectures.

To date, we have graduated one class from Project FLITE after we partnered with Miami-based Empowered Youth, and Community Boost will be launching Project FLITE 2.0 in March 2014. Show less
