The movie explores the new acceleration of female founded funds, the women angels investing in those funds and the amazing female entrepreneurs who are the recipients of those funds- that otherwise would not be receiving funding.
Women who’s ideas and innovations will affect the planet in a positive way.
The film explores how creating awareness of the VC world and how it works- will attract more women investors to this specific arm of the investment world. This will eventually move the needle to create gender equity in this arena.
The movie features such incredible women as Pocket Sun, the youngest, most successful woman to start a venture capital fund. According to Forbes and Entrepreneur Magazine- she is one of the 100 most powerful women in the country!
Also featured, Dawn La Freeda- the largest owner of restaurant franchises in the country - tells her rags to riches story and talks about why she invests in women entrepreneurs. These incredible women share their inspiring and miraculous stories, among other equally dynamic female founders .
Their stories will move you to enter the world of venture capital investment as an investor or founder. A world few women know about - until they see the movie and learn about the power yielded in this exclusive investment world of opportunities.

Award Best Documentary, Garden State Film Festival

Won award for Best Documentary for Film "I Can't Marry You" narrated by Ellen's mom Betty DeGeneres, which aired on PBS stations nationwide. This film was about why gay couples deserved the over 1000 Federal rights and benefits that come with marriage. We interviewed 20 couples that had been together from 10 to over 50 years - from cities all over the country- to demonstrate the need for gay people to be able to get married just like any other U.S. citizen. So happy for the eventual outcome!
