NCXR (North Carolina XR)
NCXR (we like to pronounce it "nicer") stands for North Carolina XR. We are a group for everyone - those who work in Augmented and Virtual Reality, and those who are just interested in it. NCXR is a free group for meeting people, sharing ideas, and building positive community. We meet both in-person and online.
Christi and I helped to co-found NCXR to help bring together XR professionals and enthusiasts living in North Carolina under a single banner to help the presence of our state grow…NCXR (we like to pronounce it "nicer") stands for North Carolina XR. We are a group for everyone - those who work in Augmented and Virtual Reality, and those who are just interested in it. NCXR is a free group for meeting people, sharing ideas, and building positive community. We meet both in-person and online.
Christi and I helped to co-found NCXR to help bring together XR professionals and enthusiasts living in North Carolina under a single banner to help the presence of our state grow on the national XR stage. As NC residents ourselves we see great potential in the budding XR industries and communities forming around the state and would like to help foster more cross-pollination and involvement. This seemed like a good way to get started on that!
